Paranormal Containment Unit -- FAQs
A: Werewolves are not necessarily human-flesh eaters, are able to maintain their human form at will, and can transform at will during the full moon; whereas demon-infected werewolves are driven by a hunger for human flesh, cannot stabilize their shape-shift transformations during the full moon, and are highly aggressive. 2.How did normal werewolves become demon-infected? A: During the werewolf-vampire wars, a rogue faction of werewolves made a pact with demon allies against clan policy to gain super strength. This plan backfired and caused a genetic anomaly within those werewolves who took the demon oath. Consequently, this caused a faction of near-species, Shadow Wolves, to break away from the werewolves. Normal werewolves have to be ever vigilant in making sure that they do not have the recessive gene (which got into the general population over thousands of years), or contract the virus from demon-infected wolves during territory battles. 3.How do Shadow Wolves differ from werewolves? A: Shadow Wolves are not allergic to silver, can transform or shape-shift at will, are completely revolted by even the thought of ingesting human flesh, and their natural enemies are demon-infected werewolves. 4.Why did the Paranormal Containment Unit (PCU) form? A: This secret Black Ops, Special Forces, multiple-discipline command center was the U.S. Military’s response to the Columbian Disaster and was formed twenty-five years ago by Presidential mandate. It is one of the earliest branches of Homeland Security that draws from every military and known scientific discipline to combat and contain potential supernatural threats to human existence. 5.What was the “Columbian Disaster?” A: Thirty years ago, ten rogue werewolves escaped their underground quarantine imprisonment behind demon doors -- that had been established by the International Werewolf Federation of Clans. These demon-infected inmates ravaged the Columbian rural mountainside, and human beings erroneously assumed that it was an escalation of the Columbian drug cartels gone berserk in an inter-cartel war. However, once U.S. Special Ops ground troops arrived, they saw what was truly happening. In addition, the Vampire Cartel took this opportunity to ‘out’ the werewolf species to U.S. Military forces, for special free enterprise purposes, exploiting their insider knowledge of the species. In return, the U.S. took first position license to exploit the genetic technology and to form an information exchange alliance with key vampire leaders. 6. Why are geneticists on the PCU team? A: To address the very real biological threats to human DNA structures and to also work on developing viruses and anti-viruses of the supernatural genre that may be effective in human evolution. 7.What is the primary goal of The Sirius Project? A: To develop the perfect human weapon (solider) by combining human and werewolf DNA, thereby effectively creating a virtually unstoppable infantryman. 8.What is Operation Dog Star? A: Operation Dog Star refers to the tactical military squad that has been genetically altered with wolf DNA and is under current observation while they exploit opportunities to gain addition Intel and to curtail the access to this technology by other nations—thus they are on the front line of U.S. national security. They are also referred to or dubbed as, The Wolf Pack. Members of this special squad (which are all under the age of 30) refer to themselves as Young Wolves. 9.Why are all the Young Wolves under the age of 30? A: Because to date, the anti-virus medication that has been developed to keep those individuals infected with werewolf virus in the genetic development process, expires at the age of twenty-five. At and shortly after this age, the test subject becomes unstable and begins to Turn into the entity that their DNA has been infected with. Age twenty-five is when normal werewolves reach their alpha dominance maturity (ADM), this their systems receive a surge of aggression hormone. It is during this time that a young werewolf can compete for pack dominance—but this genetically timed hormonal surge wreaks havoc on the human system. PCU scientists have yet to be able to develop strong enough transformation control drugs to get a human test subject through this phase without lethal consequences. Hence test subjects must be “put down” when they flip out during their first ADM surge. 10.Why was wolf or werewolf DNA selected and not that of other supernatural species? A. Werewolves are still living creatures. Vampire DNA cannot bond to a living organism. Demon DNA was similar, in so far as the entity is not only dead but is completely uncontrollable. The Fae were too hard to apprehend and were uncooperative. Ghost are both dead and incorporeal, there was no way to collect a specimen. In addition, wolf pack structure, habits, et al, were more suitable to human squad formations and the entity is hierarchically driven, much kike military commands. 11. What is the difference between werewolves and Shadow Wolves? A: Werewolves are demon phyla created by a human receiving a virally infected bite or scratch and living through the attack ordeal. While most humans attacked by werewolves die from the traumatic nature of the injuries, those individuals that survive transition into this creature on the next full moon. [Note: Also known as lycanthrope or lupines, this creature has massive strength, bone crushing jaws and sulfuric smelling saliva, and moves extremely fast. Characterized by its wolf-like body structure, this beast tends to walk upright on its hind legs, giving it additional height and menace.] The only known and effective predators for this species are Shadow Wolves, vampires, and humans (only when fighting en mass and properly armed.) Conversely, Shadow Wolves were created by natural genetic mutation in the human DNA structure thousands of years ago—most likely due to the human organism’s adaptability in its attempt to throw off the werewolf viral infection. A rare and noteworthy species, Shadow Wolves can shape-shift at will, are not beholden to the phases of the moon like werewolves, and when in wolf form, resemble larger, beautiful versions of their actual native cousins, the timber wolf. Highly intelligent and highly organized by pack structure, the only known predator for this hybrid is werewolves, (or humans ignorant of their environmental true role.) 12.What is a “she-shadow”? A: A female Shadow Wolf. 13.What is the difference between a “Shadow pack” and a “Shadow clan”? A: A pack refers to the central ruling body of the clan. A clan can be dispersed over a wide physical territory, such as North America, Canada, etc., but the core ‘pack” leads that clan. Typically pack members have and know each others’ distinctive scent, howls, and intimate family histories, whereas the clan (as in “North American clan”) is more ethnically and culturally diverse, which presents a wider choice range of mates. [Note: Within both the pack and clan structure, however, elders are extremely revered and those with “seer’ capabilities, also known as second-sight, or heightened healer capacities are the most cherished shaman clan members.] 14.How do Shadow Wolves hide themselves from the general human populations? A: The packs/clans of Shadow Wolves are extremely secretive, as a necessity to avoid being hunted into extinction by humans ignorant of their ecological role in keeping werewolves banished behind the demon doors. Oft mistaken for werewolves in the past, the noble Shadow Wolf has been subject to human persecution and “witch hunts.” Leading double lives, “shadows” never reveal to “non-shadows’ (humans) their true capabilities. They try to marry within the clans to keep blood lines pure, and have a very distinctive order of dominance within packs/clans—which also determine leadership. 15.What are some of the abilities of Shadow Wolves? A: Superior hearing, night vision, as well as a superior sense of smell. Shadow Wolves can also keep a leisurely gait over what would seem to be extreme distances for humans (i.e. approx. 25 miles per day), without fatigue. During combat, their strength is formidable, and if they transform into their wolf selves, their massive, bone crushing jaws and sheer size and lightening mobility make them deadly. However, if engaged in mortal combat, if the Shadow Wolf withdraws before the wound is fatal, with proper rest, nourishment, and care, their bodies can fight injury and disease by self-healing. These entities have survived for thousands of years as self-healers with a robust immune system. [Note: One very peculiar but effective camouflage feature of this species is that they can temporarily take on the property of the inanimate object that has cast a shadow that they’ve hidden within. For example, if they elude detection or capture by becoming invisible through stepping into the shadow of a passing car or truck, while in that shadow and for a few brief moments after exiting it, they can travel at the rate of speed of the vehicle whose shadow they donned as a cloak. In addition, they can temporarily lift/borrow the scent of a person’s or animal’s shadow to use as a deflector, hence briefly confusing a potential predator by wrapping a different scent around them. This tactic helps them to evade werewolves’ highly evolved olfactory capacities.] 16.How do Shadow Wolves choose mates and bond in the pack? A: Shadow Wolves mate for life, much like wolves, once a mate is selected based upon personality, scent, and dominance allure, and the female accepts the male’s scent offer and advances. However, males often battle for dominance over both pack position and female attention. The more alpha male is usually chosen. 17.How do the secretive Shadow Wolves know each other upon sight, especially when crossing pack lines to other clans outside their territory? A: Shadow Wolves have a natural silver lining to their auras that only other Shadow Wolves can see: the brighter the silver, usually the more dominant the individual. 18.Do Shadow Wolves howl? A: Yes. This can be a battle cry, a call to arms, general communication, or a response to an extreme emotion. The timbre of the sound and duration of the call determines its meaning, and the sound can travel over vast differences. [Note; dogs, natural wolves, and coyotes often instinctively respond to these calls by joining in.] 19.What are some of the personality traits of the Shadow Wolf? A: Extremely loyal, even-tempered, and noble, but very distrustful of humans. Clannish, the Shadow Wolves take exception to mixed human/Shadow Wolf individuals and normally do not open their secret society to such persons. A Shadow Wolf choosing a full human lover to marry is generally banished from the pack, albeit will receive pack protection, but will no longer be privy to clan activities (with the human none the wiser.) These beings are highly territorial in nature. [NOTE: Shadow Wolves are extremely loving, sensual creatures, and have an erotic ritual called shadow dancing, whereby their actual bodies do not touch but their moving shadows do in an extended form of foreplay. Lovemaking between a bonded pair can last hours into days. In addition, during she-shadow “heats” the males become extremely combative, have difficulty holding their human forms, and are prone to acts of inner pack aggression.] 20.What do Shadow Wolves eat? A: These entities are carnivores, meat-eaters, but they are repulsed by human flesh (unlike werewolves.) Although they do cook their meats (the human factor of their DNA probably being the reason), the more rare the meat the more they enjoy it. Also, during times of injury, fresh, rare or raw meat helps speed their metabolisms, thus their healing process. 21. Are there other predators that Shadow Wolves hunt? A: Extremely protective of innocent humans, Shadow Wolves are natural enemies of any entity exiting from demon doors—namely vampires, phantoms, etc. While these lesser enemy entities will not cause a Shadow Wolf to instantly attack the way werewolves do, these entities will cause the Shadow Wolf to bristle and snarl in warning. The role, ecologically speaking, of the Shadow Wolf is to patrol the borders of demon doors and to keep anything harmful to humankind from the earth plane. 22. Have there been cases where Shadow Wolves have gone rogue to attack innocent humans? A: Yes. Upon these rare occasions, the pack purges itself and brings instant, final justice (death) to the Shadow Wolves that violate the code of the wolf clan and attack a human without provocation. Other capital offenses include knowingly ingesting human flesh and carnal acts with foreign species (i.e. werewolves and vampires.) 23. What are “familiars”? A: This is a term used by many groups, but Shadow Wolves in particular, to describe animal phyla that naturally gravitates to the “shadow” species—most typically wolves or canine creatures. It can also be used as a derogatory term for mixed breed human and Shadow Wolf offspring. [Note: Due to human, military intervention, a newly structured human/wolf DNA spiral was created, whereby the being cannot shape shift and has no outward signs of becoming a wolf, as well as has no Shadow Wolf aura or capabilities, but does have the instincts and some of the heightened sensory awareness of the natural timber wolf.] 24.What is the pack nomenclature? A: Male Shadow Wolves have a “pack name,” which is given to them based upon the natural animal their personality or abilities most closely resemble. That animal’s name, with the word, “shadow” at the end of it would be their pack name. To be named “Wolf Shadow,” is a high honor. Female Shadow Wolves, or she-shadows, are named accordingly as well, with the difference being their “shadow’ name comes first and animal affiliation comes second, i.e. “Shadow Dove.” However, both male and female Shadow Wolves also have a human name to prevent human detection or understanding, unless the particular clan in question is ethnically aligned within the Native American tribal system—in which such names would not necessarily draw attention. 25.What is Operation Dog Star: The Sirius Project? A: The Sirius Project was initially a Black Ops genetic engineering experiment that went seriously wrong, whereby there was an attempt to merge werewolf DNA with human DNA within several test embryonic samples in order to create the ultimate fighting machine. Operation Dog Star is the actual mission to route out werewolves in order to keep humanity safe from the deadly viral infection spread by that creature, as well as to ensure that no hostile human entities/nations come into possession of werewolf DNA to create unstoppable WMDs or bio-warfare |
