Supernatural Political Organizations

United Council of Entities — the preternatural world’s equivalent of the United Nations. For the North American meeting, this group meets annually during the first full moon after Mardis Gras in New Orleans. NOTE: The group meets in other locations globally once a quarter based upon phase of the moon and predominant preternatural cultural holiday in other areas.

The International Federation of Clans (IFC) — made up of independent packs of Shadow Wolves and Werewolves. Local packs collectively make up regional clans, (e.g. The East Coast Clan, West Coast Clan, etc.), which are made up of all the local packs in that region. Each continent is then governed by a loose confederation of clans (e.g. The North American Clan, Central American Clan, etc.) The ultimate alpha wolf governs the IFC Council (which has representatives on it from each continent.) NOTE: Shadow Wolves have an entirely separate IFC from Werewolves, but their structures mirror each other. In a voting block, when the wolves come together, they are a formidable UCE rival to Vampires, whereas all other represented species have smaller, less cohesive voting power.

The International Vampire Cartel (IVC) — made up of the leaders of each significant legitimate as well as black market industry cartel run by Vampires worldwide (e.g. transportation industry, hotel industry, gaming industry, oil, brothels, drugs, entertainment, arms dealing, financial markets, et al.) Each industry segment has an area “Baron,” (like the Vegas Casinos, the Atlantic City Casinos), and each Baron reports in to an area Board of Directors that has ultimate oversight within that particular industry. Shareholders of Vampires vote-in the CEO at the Board of Director level, whereby the Baron running the most lucrative industry sector at any given time carries the vote for the Vampire voting block at the UCE – United Council of Entities. NOTE: Vampires are resource based, not geographically based. Their industries crisscross the human world in an elaborate network. There are always multiple cartel interests being balanced within several industries, which often leads to bitter internal feuds and cut-throat double-dealings. For example, the hotel industry is run by one Baron, but there is a profit-sharing schematic to allow prostitution, gambling, and other customer satisfaction services to work side by side within those Vampire-run chains.

Fae Parliament — made up of each species of Fae; fairies, brownies, gnomes, pixies, etc. This would also include mythic creatures, such as The Order of The Dragon, Griffins, Yeti, etc. However this group has experienced quite a bit of internal friction and one can never be sure how the votes will be cast.

Phantom Lodge Halls – feudal, extremely unstable, and based on regional historical structures, includes ghosts, succubae, incubi, poltergeists, et al.
