Unidentified Phenomena: Shadow Wolves

These are organically occurring creatures per legend/lore in multiple cultures and depicted as honorable totems able to shape-shift at will. Their natural enemy is the phyla of demon-infected creature, lycanthrope or werewolves. Shadow Wolves use the shadows of day or night as their shield, invisibly blending into them to move through time and space undetected. Shadow wolves may also temporarily siphon the properties off the object they are shadowing, i.e. gain the speed off the shadow of a passing car, or the solid mass of a building, etc. Natural healers, Shadow Wolves possess natural antibodies against a werewolf viral infection, and can self heal if the wound is not immediately fatal. Their family structure and mating habits, as well as their hunting methods and pack dominance rituals follow closely to that of their familiar creature, timber wolves.
